I do it, not very often though. Since I wear shorts in the summer, I can't let my parents see the cuts, so I stopped mostly for the summer. But I think it feels good and helps with the pain of life. And whenever I fall and make myself bleed, it doesn't hurt; it feels good. So all the people who say its useless and there's no point, then you've never experienced real pain.

You will never understand to the full extent of something unless you have been through it yourself.
I used to self harm just for the fact that for that split second all the pain inside my body was released and i was free..just for that split second..
Physical pain can never amount to emotional pain..
I stopped self harming as i knew it wasnt right and it wasnt making my life any better, it was leading me down a path, so i stopped and i havent regreted it a day since

i havent cut in four months but when i did it did make my pain go away for a few minutes but then i had to hide the scratches and scars for the next few weeks.it is addictive and its NOT for attention.dont judge people who cut if youve never done it yee dont understand so back off

I believe that it's a valid, and very effective (although potentially dangerous) way of dealing with stress, fear and angst. Works for me, always has. I'd go so far as to say that I'm an advocate for it not being frowned upon.
