If anyone thinks people are entering other people's photos as their own, please send a PM to either me, Hep, Decadence or Fenton. Obviously we can't disqualify anyone based on a hunch you have, so if you can provide links to where the original photo is hosted it would be really helpful.
Again, we have some very skilled photographers on LiveWire, so don't be surprised that some of the entries look professional. That is no reason to accuse people of stealing.

Is it ok if i add watermarks to my photos? I sorta take photos professionally and don't want them to be ripped.
Who are we to say you can't watermark them? Other people already have, and you have the right to protect your art in whatever way you like. Go ahead :)

it was too hard for me to pick only 5 pics... but i end up with those picture...i wanted to put different landscapes..& since it's summer i prefered to put some 'summer pictures' ! hope you'll like it :

Three things that I love in this topic:
1) The shots that people are claiming are theirs that are aerial shots, but far too close to the ground to be from an airplane - aka yeah right you happened to be in a helicopter with an open door hovering 150 feet above that random forest and/or the Eifel tower. 2) The overuse of contrast - especially in photographs that are actually really nice - there's a picture of Machu Peachu (spelling?) in there somewhere that is a really nice photograph, but the contrast and image vibrancy is cranked enough to make it look like a pastel painting. 3) The shear volume of pictures that are from rather well known sources.

I'll say again: If you think people are stealing images, please provide links so we can do something about it. You can PM it to the contest owner or one of the judges if you're that concerned about people matching your opinion to your member name. Making unfounded allegations behind an anonymous mask isn't helping anayone.
