Agreed, but there still is always next year.  As for those who said that it couldn't be done for Federer to win after a two-set deficit, near the end, all that it took was just one crucial error to lose serve.  John McEnroe was correct in stating that this match was certainly one of the best matches I have ever seen.  Absolutely no doubt about that.

Now, off to the US Open series.

Chin up, my friend.  Although he lost a crucial match, I still remember his 1st Round loss to Ancic after making it to the Quarters the year prior.  Federer is certainly a phenomenal player, and both are exceptionally humble given the circumstances of their match ups throughout the various years.  Instead of winning 6 consecutive Wimbledon finals, he'll have to win at least a few more before retiring.
