I'm wondering...I see a lot of men wearing a Yameka ok, I know i didn't spell that correctly, but please forgive me)...

But I'm wondering WHEN you are to wear it, for what occasion, and if it signifies a different denomination of your faith (orthodox or reform)?

all jews wear them to synagogue
its yarmulka or kippah
don't ask why

orthodox guys wear them all the time
but so do some conservative guys
reform guys don't wear them outside of shul

it is worn for anything religious
or if you want to pay attention to religion
orthodox people also wear tzizit all the time

I've seen conservative Jews wear them, like, all the time.
But usually, just when you go to synagogue or temple.

jewish males are meant to wear it all the time, (exluding times where they are physically unable to like in the shower...) but it all depends on each persons level of observance of the law.

it is generally worn as a mark of respect to god, as it reminds a jew of gods omnipresence. there are many different ideas on why jews should wear it though.

mainstream jews will generally only wear a kippah when going to synagogue or when saying a prayer.
