Desktop processors produce too much heat for a laptop to handle as the cooling is ussually allot less than that you would find in your normal desktop computer.

If you want to play the game though, what sort of processor do you currently have?  If it's a laptop, then you're better of getting a Desktop for serious gaming as you'll be able to upgrade easier and cheaper than a laptop. If you have a fair bit of money to spend get a new desktop with a decent processor and graphics card, if you're more limited then get a new graphics card instead.

ya but im just missing 600mhz but any way i have nvidia series6 card and i thought about getting it up to 8 that migth help whith lagging

It can't, the chances of finding a 45nm 3GHz processor that can be supported by the laptop's motherboard is virtually zero. Even if you could it'd be silly considering the cooling you'd need. You might as well just get a desktop or an Alienware laptop.

Plus the power consumption of a 3 gig processor in a laptop must be amazingly high.
