when you can just go to the library seriously it is such a waste of money to buy books. you read them once and then you have a bunch of stuff to find storage for it's so stupid i always go to the library

I buy all of my books.
Then I put them in a pile when I am done. I have quite a few piles.

I hate the library. And they NEVER have any good books I want to read.
Therefore, I'd rather "waste" my money and buy them.

I like to have my university books at quick reference. I live an hour away from uni. Also, libraries here aren't readily available with all the books you would ever want. As for novels and such, I just prefer buying the book, it's the same with music cds and such. It's just a preference.

I have a shelf full of nothing but hard back books. True, going to the library will save a lot of money and all, but sometimes you just want to own the book.

true, but some people prefer to buy books, like myself  . i dont like my library that much because its a dump,i read slow , and the librarians bitch at me for no reason, so im better of buying books :) plus i like to have the benefit of owning my favorites so i can read them again and again
