i think it's ridiculous that america is obsessed with girls being thin. movie stars can't be a pound over anorexic, or they're just not pretty. stuff like that is why chubbers have such low self esteem. think about it a little.

I agree this country is always focusing on looks. My opinion is who gives a shit what someone looks like. People say that women have to be super skinny. That is why so many girls are getting eating disorders. The girls are told that they are too fat or aren't pretty enough so they take drastic measures to change. Girls also get called names because they are heavier.

i'm glad someone else sees things the way i do. ideas of people shouldn't be based on their looks. and that name calling thing? it's terrible. i went through it all through middle school. i'm a little heavier, yeah. not actually fat, but i could afford to lose a few pounds. all through middle school, i was teased. and now i'm in high school, it's gotten better. it's pathetic that people have to do that kind of stuff because the country is so based on looks
