Stepping out into the pale sun light
In my head all I see is His face.
The world feels calm and at peace,
But I know better
The nightmare has barely begun.
Corpses laying across the ground
Terror still cast,
Across their star struck face.
Curiosity kills the cat
Or so my elders say.
But it was not my wandering eyes that killed me,
Not in the literal sense at least.
Seeing beyond what has been seen before
It was His eyes, His scorn, His hatred, that killed me.
Killed the innocent souls around my weathered existence,
Never to be the same.
Why were they tortured you ask?
For not being perfect according to Him,
Who is he?
In our eyes he is Satan himself
But to the public eye,
He is known as Adolf Hitler.
