McCain has to appeal to the conservative base if he wants to win the election. He's not gonna have much republican support if he were to support gay marriage. Despite his personal beliefs.

Honestly, I think has a good head on his shoulders.  I think that if he would just say what he really believes instead of trying to please the religious right, I could vote for him.

And me saying that I could vote Republican is quite something.

I think it's a shame what has happened to him.
I want to vote for him but I know the conservative pressure on his administration would be too much.

It wouldn't be McCain in the whitehouse, it would just be a continuation of a republican agenda.
