Intelligence...

That's the most obvious choice.

Other.

If their views (on EVERYTHING that matters - problems in society and the world, solutions to the problems, specific ways of going about them, views on things that affect me, etc) match mine more than another candidate, than they should have my vote.  (I'm not of voting age yet, unfortunately... but you know)  I think that that should be the primary method of choosing.  Debating and speaking skills are certainly important, but, as far as most candidates go, they've already got that shit down.

Is this the Intellectual Forum or not? Honestly....

I'd probably say skillful debating, although if I don't like their moral judgment that debating should seem kind of empty.

morral judgement, nice

yeah i think that is important, but so is honesty and integrity. Who cares how smart you are, how charismatic you are how good a debater you are, if you are going to lie and be deceitful about things.

Why was I the only to choose Strong Actions? Many, many candidates *are* intelligent, have skillful talking and debating and decent moral judgment but very, very few actually have a history of making good on their promises and taking action.

Although, looking at George Bush and his war, maybe he was all action and no intelligence or moral judgment.
