you need to figure out how you want to set your base price. Do you want to charge by frame (example- 100 frames for X dollars), charge by the hour, or a flat rate for the entire shoot? Figure that out, then research what other photographers in your area are charging and charge a bit less than that. One of my photography professors charged a flat rate of $1000 a day, but he is an established pro photographer and is able to charge such an amount.
So... can anyone that charges for photo work call themselves a professional photographer? lol.
