Every year, my mother drags me and my whole family to my Grandma's house on Mother's Day. It's such a fucking inconvenience. Don't get me wrong, I love my Grandma more than anything. But, this, I don't love. Leaving right after school on Friday, at 4:00, then driving eight hours, arriving at 1:00 AM in the morning. On Saturday, sleeping half the day because we're tired. Doing some stuff with my grandma, and then leaving on Sunday at 4:00 PM, and getting back at like 1:00 AM on Monday, and having to go to school in six hours. My parents are too cheap to fly.

Yeah the traveling would kinda suck... and that's all you get to do all weekend. But oh well, it's only once a year.

I Love driving long distance. l Live in TX and My friend and drove to North Carolina last Summer. that's 18 hour drive. we loved it.

I know exactly how you feel. My grandmother's in Arizona, so a 6-hour plane ride for me and it sucks cause we're very close and my parents want me to visit her all the time
