btw, I met a well known porn star(not during a shoot, but just every day life meeting on the street)....she carried herself well, and was just chatting it up with friends of hers, shopping at some ritzy store for women. if they have low self esteem, I find it hard to believe, given they actually still put themselves in front of a camera in that way.

There is nothing that can be legally done to them, to jail them or place them in a mental facility for starring in porn is denying them one of their fundamental constitutional rights. The right to freedom of expression, not to mention countless others.

While I'm not particularly a fan of pornography myself, as long as people aren't pushed into the field, I have no objection to it. Declaring it illegal would only force it underground, where it would be harder to regulate and would end up similar to prostitution�where disease and drugs are rampant and dead hookers end up in ditches.
