I wasn't aware America was involved in the European part of WWII to save Jews; I thought they were involved to prevent a tyrant from overtaking the legitamate governments of an entire continent, with the goal of overtaking the entire world and elimination all people not of the Ariyan race. BTW, although American soldiers were there to liberate the concentration camps, the US involvement in the European thearte of WWII was not until late in the war, which many people believe was specifically BECAUSE there was little interest in helping the Jews. As the freedom of more countries came into jeopardy, the US became more involved. BTW, did Viet Nam ever thank us for keeping the Russians out? Did Afganistan ever thank us for keeping the Russians out (that's right, they gave us a big blast on 9/11). Shall we look at history and ask this question about all the countries we've helped?
Good question about our financial support of that country. Shall we ask if the Palestinians have thanked the US for our financial support of them?
BTW, Israel has shown its support of the US by remaining the only long term democratic ally in the Mid-east. Further, our success in the first Iraqi war was in part due to Israel's allowing the US to use their country strategically, as it did in the initial hunt for bin Laden.
