Sooo, I've always been incredibly thin, like all of my life.  Yet recently like over the past few months i've noticed that I'm like actually gaining weight, not so much on the scale but on my body...around my stomach area and what not.  I really need to tone up and exercise more, i realize that yet for someone who has never done so before i'm not really sure where to start or how to.  What works best?

sit-ups and push ups. start with about 20 and go up five each night. for push ups, try 5 and go up five each night. i'd say try this for a month. then start running. don't ask me how long, i've got no idea!

start with what you're most comfortable with. if you aren't used to exercising regularly it will be difficult to stick with at first. i definitely suggest changing it up every day though. if you stick with the same workout routine your body gets too used to it and doesn't end up getting worked out. just challenge your body. otherwise it can't get better. i just realized today that running up and down the stairs really gets your heart pumping. lol :)

as for food seriously stay away from soda, chips, candy, all that processed stuff. the best thing to do is eat as natural as possible. you can splurge once in a while but try to do it only occasionally.

I'm working on my tummy right now too. :) feel free to talk anytime. you may want to get a few "i want those abs" videos or something. that one is really good actually. :P the videos give you a lot of ideas. if you're really interested you should pay attention to shows that talk about health and fitness. they seriously give me a lot of ideas.
