I don't know whether we can judge how much respect she has for herself. To wear that dress is her personal choice, and just because you wouldn't wear it doesn't mean that she has no respect for herself. I would say she appears to be pretty high on herself actually. The issue however is whether she should have been allowed to wear it to prom. Even the most clueless person should have known that that outfit was never going to be acceptable at any high school prom anywhere. So respect or not doesn't matter, the dress is inappropriate for prom.
