idk when i think about it, in a way it does make sense. genocide is completely different from being homeless. the homeless person still has their life, they still have the potential to stop being homeless. but once you're dead you're dead.

I think it's because of how simple it seems. I mean, face it, America's got a shitload of economic problems to fix before the homeless population will go down. So does Canada. Mostly those would be social and educational changes, which are long and difficult to implement.

It just seems easier: we throw money at Rwanda, we boost their economy, they can solve it from there. We throw money at north American homeless, they spent it on alcohol, drugs, and various illegal things, and our homeless problem gets worse.
