So, my dad is an Atheist. I am learning about evolution in school, and of course, he is all for that. I can not stand learning about it. I really don't know how he'll even react when he figures out I read the bible in my room. I'm not extremely religious, but I'm learning more and more about it, and the more I do the more it makes sense. My mom and step mom are both Jewish, and not very religious. I don't know, does he have to know?

you don't have to tell him unless you want to be exempted from learing about evolution, but even then i'm not sure you can do that. some schools allow it.

How does religion make any sense at all?  You know, if you are wrong you've just spent your entire life worshipping people that were made up.  Would you worship Harry Potter if the author wrote that he was God?

You are your own person and you make your own decisions, what religion you choose for yourself, or what beliefs you choose to believe are your own and not even your dad can tell you otherwise, but if your worried, just don't tell him, it's not like he needs to know.

Actually, I had a friend that worshiped J.K. Rowling, and thought that Harry Potter was the Bible.

And I don't call Atheism wrong, so please don't call my beliefs "wrong".

Tell him... There's nothing to be ashamed about- He will have to accept and understand your beliefs.
But I find it hard to accept your statement 'The more I read the Bible, the more it makes sence'
Before I read the Bible in detail, I was a believer. The deeper I looked into Christianity, The more I couldn't stand it's contradictions.

I don't think that people who don't agree with Christianity and Jesus go to Hell. It's freedom, and everyone deserves it, just because people disagree with your beliefs doesn't make them wrong.
