Im 16 and a sophomore in high school. There are about 900 people in my school so I know a lot of people. I am in the middle when it comes to popularity. Lets say there is a girl that is more popular than me and who knows me. And I have had plenty of chances to talk to her before but I never did because I was too nervous. And there was this one REALLY awkward time where I was going upstairs from the locker room and she was too. We both met at the stairs by some strange fate. We literally got there at the exact same moment. She just looked at me and I froze up and didnt even say anything. Then I just walked behind her up the stairs. And that was after I had a conversation with her on facebook that went nowhere. Does she definitely think Im a complete weirdo now? And btw it happened 3 weeks or so ago. All her friends and more popular than me and she likes this kid from my baseball team. What should I do? I could settle for just being friends, but I dont even know how to go about becoming her friend. Any suggestions?
Just be yourself, that is how I am popular I guess.
