aghhh i can't figure this out for the life of me, please only respond if you know wtf you're talking about.

2 cards are drawn at random from a 52 card deck.

what is the probability that:
-both are black
-only one is a heart

for the first one i tried to do

26 C 2

52 C 2

but i got it wrong and i dont understand why ???

probability that both are black -- 26/52 x 25/51 (assuming you don't replace the cards)
probability that only one is a heart -- 13/52 x 38/51

the card isnt replace, they are drawn out consecutively.

a combination just gives you how many possible outcomes.. or is that what your looking for?

because I would assume that you are just trying trying to find the probability that you would get that outcome..
