childs isn't a word
Not every plural in English has the form (word)s, some have different endings, such as children

The plural is children. You can't say childs.

childs isnt a word. you used the nomal means of making something plural in english, which is adding a S. but in English to say more than one Child it is Childern. and in German is Kind for one child, and Kinder for more than one. both are Germanic languages. And both dont use the normal means of making something plural when they do it with that word.
