Well, if you're very tan, it'll fade slower, if not, it'll disappear very quickly. Because when your skin stops getting those rays, it fades back to your natural color. So try tanning two or three times a week.

It has to do with how much melanin your skin has the more melanin the longer your tan will last and the darker and easier you tan.
