Okay so i gotta builda  kite for Geometry. Kinda sucks because A) AP World history test is on Thursday
B) The project is due Wednesday
C) I dont feel like buying all this crap
D) There's no guidelines
E) If I don't have nothing she will give me a "U" for the marking period

Okay im a pretty good A - B student in my school. The thing is I kinda want to focus more on the AP World and study that exam so i can get college credits.. and i dont want to buold this stupid kite.

She says the materials can be ANYTHING, but just don't "insult my intelligence by buying a Kite from a store"

So what i would like is any ideas on how to build this kite. Oh and it "has" to fly or the highest i'll get is a B.

Any steps or tips from anybody whose reading this? Com'on somebody got to make kites for hobbies on here lol.

I just need basic stuff of the materials oh and if possible where i can find them. I dont want to spend htat much money though..
so atleast $15 - $20 on other materials excluding glue and markers and stuff.

Get Six straws then get the string and run the string throught the straws and make a triangle. Then make the triangle a pyrimid using 3 other straws.

Do this like umm I think 9 other times. I think you need 10 or 11 pyrimids total.

But when your done tape the tissue paper on them making sure you leave one side not covered.

Then making sure all the sides that are not covered are facing the same direction tie the pyrimids together making one big pyrimid.

Then tie your kite string to the top and there you go

I did this in my math class and I hope this helps you a little.
