I don't really see the problem. Maybe because I'm a Catholic, myself. But I always thought it was the right thing to do to, since she was the mother of Jesus and all.

The Hail Mary is about asking Mary to pray on your behalf. It doesn't mean worship Mary, that's for sure.

Yeah, I know that. It's just like how we pray to saint as kind of a channel between them and Jesus or God. But the Hail Mary sort of sounds like it's directed at just her. I don't know, I've never really been devoted to the Catholic catechism. I just go on major holidays.
