ugh, I spent 2 hours just locating and isolating 3 viruses on my dad's computer, as well as setting up the proper routes to at least postpone their effects for a while.  still, it's only a matter of hours(if that long) until the encryption on them change and I'd have to do something again.

ya know, I've run my own computers without firewalls, and am able to keep up with viruses, yet he has all the security money can buy, and his computers still get infected.

the only reason my computers fry is because they can't handle the data I put in them(mainly data to run Artificial Intelligence programs to run proper maintenance and organizing).  a blessing yet a curse, since I spend over 1000 in 2 years on new computers starting from the lowest price...and that's just starting...

what can I say? I love a challenge.

dunno.  but I do know that I'm glad I've not had an infected computer for as long as I remember having one.  probably because I was an ex-hacker hunter.  not really for business.  I just found the originator of viruses and took note, but not really any hard evidence to really do anything about it.  just down to the region.

What the hell, mate, I think you are over reacting here I know what a virus perfectly is and by the way "It doesn't have a DNA lol" so his encryption is hardly going to change on its own.

Is just a virus and it was made to attack a certain part of the computer.

well, specific viruses, if programmed to do so, do change their encryption.  though mainly used to infect more important systems, some do tend to "stray" into everyday home systems, whether through a site it was intended for, or by the whim of a hacker gathering information.

once again, as an ex-hacker hunter, I do know how hackers operate.

haha, I don't have "leet" computer skills.  I just get lucky more often than not.  if it fails once, I try and try again until I find something that works.
