I'm going to buy a phone soon because I'm sick of sharing with my little sister, but I'm not sure which phone to get. I limited it down to two, but i need your help haha.

Here's the first one:

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Cell-Phone-Detail.aspx?cell-phone=Motorola-RIZR-Z3

it has everything i need really, but its almost the same phone as my boyfriends so i don't know if i want to get it or not. I liked it a lot when i first looked at it, but now it just looks kinda boring. I'm pretty sure i'd get sick of  it after awhile.

Here's the second one:

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/ Cell-Phone-Detail.aspx?cell-phone=T-Mobile-BlackBerry%C2%AE-Pearl%E2%84%A2-White

It's 20 dollars more but its a blackberry, and i've wanted a blackberry for a long time now. Does anyone know if it costs more a month to use the emailing thing? and are there any extra charges a month that i would have to pay with this one that i wouldn't have to with the other one?

I heard some bad stuff about the blackberries... but i don't remember exactly what it was. anyone else heard anything bad about them?

You have to pay a ton a month extra for a blackberry. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, and unless you run a business or something, you won't really need the BB. (Email can also be done on the RIZR.)

I'd say RIZR?

Go for the black berry.

Everyone has both of them but the black berry does so much more. I have the black jack II and I love it. They are about the same thing.

Thanks everyone for the points. I love you all.

Get a Motorola if you don't plan to have it for long, you don't mind the software getting slow, or you don't care if it stops working.

Only if you use the emailing and stuff though right?

Don't touch a blackberry if your not really gonna utilize it. Just get a simple phone. The first one is good enough.

Well you can get it if you want. To make the phone worth anything your gonna have to have a expensive plan. And if you plan to just use a few things on the phone like texting and calling then its not worth buying. No point in it, but if you can afford it get it.
