I have the same situation... I'm 75/25 African American and Puerto Rican... most people are surprised that I'm Puerto Rican because i can't speak Spanish and my two friends who are PR too are lighter than me. And then people say being 25% percent isn't enough, when I feel it's to much to ignore.... don't let anyone take from you what you are... when ever someone tells me I'm black, I ALWAYS correct them because I want that other part of me to be known... because THAT"s who I am... I might be only quarter Hispanic, BUT it's a strong quarter
