I do not know the software myself personally but everyone else is saying you will not get a virus.
In my opinion if you do not completly trust the software you are downloading you have around two options:
1. you do not download it.
2. you download it onto something like a removable disc and then virus scan it, if it has no viruses put it onto the computer and then install it etc.
