Statutory rape.  Even if she is perfectly willing, for them to have sex, if they get caught, or anyone even finds out about it, he'll not only go to jail for it, but he'll also have to put his name on the list of registered sex offenders.

The law is that for someone 18 years or older, having sex with anyone under the age of 16 years old is constituted as statutory rape, having sex with someone 16-17 years old, you can still be charged with statutory rape, but only if the parents of the younger participant decide to file charges, under 16 and there is no option, charges are automatically filed.

That doesn't purely go for sex.  Any kind of sexual or lude act between someone over the age of 18 and someone under the age of 16 is considered statutory rape on the basis that the younger person is not fully matured and ready to accept the responsibilities of it and cannot adequately use judgment to make the right decision.

WRONG.
The age of consent is different in every state, but it's usually 16 or 17, and if she's under that age, it doesn't matter if she's willing or even if her parents approve of it, he WILL get in trouble.

But if you guys are willing and are cautious enough, go for it. You are really young, and I would say wait a little while longer, but if you think you're ready, it's up to you.

my own opinion,thats wrong and if u do it u might as well say the next time you'll be seeing him is through a jail cell........and even worst than that you might end up pregnant,and then not only are u in a heep of trouble,he is in jail whos going to help you take care of the baby? Protection is only 99.9% effective ,im 16 and its not what you think it is until you have been there and done that......and had a baby its not great,and certainly is not easy......so please im begging you please please wait to have any sexual active innercourse,and not only could you wind up prego,he might have had sex with alot of other people you dont know about and might transfer an std or aids,or hiv u just never kno.....please dont be stupid please wait
