The boomerang pwnz the bow.
Especially the WW incarnation of it.
I barely use the bow except against certain enemies (ie. Wizrobes and the moth things, both of which can be 0HKO'd with a fire arrow), but the boomerang can be used against virtually any enemy to stun it and then yo follow up with a sword attack

I haven't yet played Link's Awakening, and I have no intention of playing the Oracle games
