I have been best friends with this guy for nine years now and I have been in love with him for like 6 of them. He knows that I have had a crush on him in the past, but now he thinks I am over it and we act like just friends. Nothing has ever happened between us except for the occasional friendly hug and thats all.

Well a few weeks ago he just informed me that his mother is getting married and moving out of the house and he doesn't want to lose it, so he wants me to move in with him. HE said it's because he knows he can trust me to work and get the bills paid and that I'm the only one he can really live with.

The problem is, right now I live with my sister and her husband and I help her raise our three nephews (she has custody of my other sisters kids) and she relies on me a lot. I don't want her to feel like I am just abandoning her with the kids. My mom and their mother both live in Florida and don't help us out at all.

Another thing is that it is an hour away and I might start a new job here in a few weeks. I'm not sure I have it yet because I have an interview but if I do I'd have to commute or turn the job down and it's really good. Or I'd have to find a job there. I'm just not sure what to do. Any advice?

This is a horrible situation. You don't want to abandon your sister and I'm sure that you have grown fond of having your nephews near you all this time. You just need to also realize that you will one day need to build and make your own life. It seems as if whatever route you take; You are only there for some sort of support; So think about it this way. You need to decide who needs your help the most, who has been there the most for you, will you lose this guy if you dont move in with him? Did you ever have him to begin with? What if you don't gain anything from moving out with him?

nothing really just splitting bills..i've never lived on my own before and i'm almost 24 and i've been wanting to get out of my sisters house for a long time..the kids are 6,5,and 4 now and her and her husband are getting used to handling things with them by themselves but shes gotten so used to having me around its like i'm her built in nanny..everytime she makes plans to go out and do things she never takes into consideration that i might have plans too and then she'll get irritated if i don't want to babysit
