 omfg. my apush teacher was like, "you don't need to really study anything past lbj in depth because they never have a dbq on anything more recent because it won't be objective writing." when people opened up the essay booklet, every single person in the room started half laughing, half crying. we all started panicking except for one girl who had written a research paper on the topic, so she was fine. everyone else made everything up, and one kid didn't answer the dbq at all. 
My teacher is the exact opposite. We spent two weeks on that topic. We were all happy that we got that DBQ

I got a 3 on it my sophomore year. That was quite a feat, considering I never studied and my teacher thought I was gonna get a 1.

It was easier then I expected. The multiple choice questions were easy for the most part, and my class had just finished up on the Vietnam War. I had problems with the FRQ's though.

Mine was about the Vietnam War, and I think I spent too long describing how much it sucked to be in Vietnam, as opposed to how it changed American life. I used all the documents besides one, though. I'd give myself a 6. Not excellent by far, but decent. The other two essays..eh. I didn't even care anymore by the time I got to the last one.
