Credit Fraud

My father has received a writ of execution from the sherriff's office, and it was posted on my door when I got home today. It is from a collection agency, and I have researched this company, and I have found that it is an illegal fraud collection agency.

I've told my mom about the letter, and she called the sherriff's office, and I'm gonna give her information on the company, and stuff like that.

I'm so afraid for some reason.  She's gonna try and keep it from my dad, but I think they need to get a lawyer in order to erase this from his credit report....

You do realize that a writ of execution means that someone has already gotten a judgment against you for a money damages, and the only thing left is for the sheriff to sell your property to pay off the debt. I'm not sure why your mother would try hiding this information from you, or what you mean by an "illegal fraud collection agency," but it sounds like you're in serious trouble at this stage of the proceedings. You are going to need more than a lawyer to deal with any credit report, you need a lawyer to deal with the judgment already entered against you, before it's too late, if it's not already too late.
