and your son was never really good at school and he is suddnely getting good grades. Then you find that he is smoking weed, and he tells you that it helps him concentrate or whatever shit he makes up as an excuse.

What would you do? Considering it might be true that weed has helped him succeed at school.

PS: This is so not about me

I would be proud that a) he hasn't bought into all the anti-drug hype and b) that it is actually benefiting his life.

I would probably be a little concerned that my kid was smoking weed.. since it's an illegal drug, and I wouldn't want him to get busted/have harmful effects from it, but yet I would not yell or punish him for it. This is because if I did it would encourage him more to do it, and What could I really do to get him to stop anyway? I'd tell him it's his life, but maybe he needs to find some other substance such as Adorrall which would help him to concentrate more healthily.

Depends on the increase in grades and the amount of weed he smokes the choice is pretty much is it better for my son to live a shorter but more succesful life or a longer but poor life I'd probably let him smoke but not if its way too much or not during the summer when he doesn't need to be smart.

are you kidding me? adderall is fucking crack and slowly erodes your brain. it also brings out obsessive/compulsive behavior tendencies and has a horrible fucking comedown once your tolerance gets even the least bit elevated.
