I was looking at the Vancouver film school , but it was quite expensive and a long way from home.
I was looking a the local siast in Saskatoon one, but it seems to short , and too good to be true.
has anyone been to/ or is presently at a film school that seems to be working out for them?

If you can, you can possibly attend NYU in New York City. A student Visa, maybe?
Definitely, I recently visited NYU for a different purpose, but I saw the film school and it looked excellent. The campus and the city is an excellent stimulant for anything sartistic such as film

The best film schools I can think of are New York University and University of Southern California. However, if price and distance are troubling for you, these are both expensive schools that are rather far from you. I'm not too familiar with Canadian schools, but have you thought about talking to a guidance counselor or looking online? Princetonreview.com would be helpful probably.
