I believe we save ourselves by the quality of life while we are living. The "God" theory is one that organized religions need to brainwash and control both the minds and pocketbooks of followers. It sounds like Orwell's 'theory' in 1984, if enough people believe in something then it exists. To some extent that's true, if someone believes in something, it exists to them. But, you cant pass away whether or not God exists simply because you have found a manner to explain it if He doesn't.
