A very large majority of the honor students in my graduating class were firm believers in God and were some of the most outspoken in terms of their faith....and yes, It is a public school.

Also, the majority of the smartest kids in my high school were very staunch Roman Catholics. Take that how you will.

It just proves my theory that the highly religious South of the US should have been it's own country a long time ago. They can have their dumb country, the North is it's smart country.
