If you really love music, you probably shouldn't try to make a career of it. It takes the fun out of it, IMO, as a guitarist, to be forced to play for a preconceived result, such as money to pay bills.

Well, music would be more enjoyable...But engineering is more stable and will get you more money. Personally, I would go with music. I'd rather be poor than have to do all that math and physics!
