About 3-4 weeks ago, my girlfriend of one year four months decided to dump me. Her reasons were she did not have feelings for me anymore and she wanted to stay at home & take online classes instead of moving near me and working on the relationship. Since then, I have been thinking deeply about either going for casual sex or a relationship.

Which option is better?
Do girls go for guys who is man-whore?

Depends if you want a gf or just some action. My advice would be to just go and start with the casual sex and see if anything escalates from there or you change your mind.

And I think girls see "man whore" guys as a casual sex parter/one night stand thing and nothing more. 'Cause you make yourself look really flightly and unreliable... But meh, I know girls who'll only go for "bad guys" even though they know full well they'll get cheated on.
