Try driving down here. There is a zoo load of SUV's all around with Crazy soccer mom's in their Tahoes and Suburbans and Sequoia's all beeping on their Nextel or beating their kids while driving 80MPH in a 60 zone. I am just happy when I little car try's to cut me off and I am in my Tahoe I don't let them over.

People + Groceries I can understand not wanting to get to 'road raged'. Yes some drivers are just dicks like that.

Reminds me of this one time a guy got onto a two-lane in front of me, [It was about 1am] was going wayyy under the speed limit so I was kind of riding his ass because I hate people who go rediculously under the limit. Needless to say he had the bright idea to brake check me. I gave him quite the nudge with my car, needless to say I was driving this...

Also I was in full uniform, though off duty and on my way home... Thought the guy was gonna crap his pants when he saw me get out of the car. I only hit him at about 10mph, more to make a point for him being a douchebag.

If anyone wonders why I didn't just pass him, it was a double-yellow kinda hilly two-lane, passing isn't easy plus illegal (not that hitting a car isn't...)

The guy didn't do anything, as there was no damage... and i'm pretty sure he was a little bit lit.

he might have recognized your car, some people know what a cop car looks like even in the dark and are paranoid so they go really slow.

Not as likely, Impala squads are relatively rare here. Crown vics are EVERYWHERE. Plus in the dark, its pretty difficult to determine, as the outline of the car looks normal if you ever get a glimse of it... I suppose its vaugly possible... but still why would you brake check a car you THINK is a cop? Thats just asking for it.  

I was heading home from some place (can't remember) but I was heading East on Rt. 31 (not that that matters to you) and I cam up on a rusted out Suzuki Samurai who was consistently going 5-10mph under in a 45mph zone.  I ride kind of close behind him, just under a second, almost considered normal around here in busy traffic.  Well when it opened up to two lanes he sat in the left lane and I moved over into the now right lane and sped up to the speed limit.

This guy being a real jerk decides he did not like his ass being ridden for going far under the speed limit then swerves over into the right lane missing me by feet.  I had time to just downshift 2 gears and get over into the left.  Once ~200ft in front of him and him staying back he speeds up, well, I brake checked the fucker and he nearly lost control.  Since I was going to stop for gas two blocks ahead I decided to lose this guy.

Made a quick right at the next road which winds pretty rapidly a few times (Now is when having fun on gravel roads translates into real use), got the Accent going nice and sideways.  He was 2 turns behind be so I make the final move to lose him and turn into a court (has building in middle so can hide).  Came around and he was nowhere near close.

And that is what happens when people in IL get pissed for going far under the speed limit.
