I had adrenal gland cancer when I was 2.  All the treatment stunted my growth and now I just see it as a curse.
How old are you now? What is your height?

My family has a very long history of cancer. But in the immediate section, my grandmother whom I was very close to, died of lung cancer which matastisized to her brain. She also had Melenoma at one point (skin cancer). My grandfather currently has lung cancer and the little bugger is walking around with a partially collapsed lung. Go figure, right?
My mother was recently diagnosed (when I mean recent, I mean last month) with ovarian cancer. She was in the hospital for 18 days and had her ovaries and other sorts of organs removed (she had a hysterectomy when she was 28, so that wasn't even there anymore). They actually had to do ANOTHER surgery a week after the other one because she started leaking infected fluid from her insition. She's doing amazing right now, and starts chemo on the 25th of june. She'll only need it up until october or november because they got pretty much all of it in surgery, chemo is just the ice melt to get what surgeons couldn't see.
She's gonna go for genetic counseling or something of that sort and see if she's carrying the actual gene for ovarian cancer, or if it was just a fluke that she got it (no one in out family actually has ovarian cancer, or a history of it). If she's carrying the gene, it mean's she has a higher percent chance of developing breast cancer. As in, 90%. If so, she'll get a mastectomy before that happens (cut her breasts off). She's not overly concerned right now, but she knows that's what she's going to do. And she said she'll tatoo her chest and make it look pretty, lol.
