It's quite possible. I have a tendancy to faint, which is why I have to watch how I eat and drink sometimes. Also, being a female, when I'm on my period, I'm more susceptible to it. Before it happens, I start feeling very sick. I feel nauseous, and my stomach starts to hurt. And then... boom, I faint. I only pass out long enough to hit the floor (and thankfully all 5 times I've been caught somehow, or otherwise hit something to help break my fall). But when I wake up, I'm a bit wearker, and I'm shaking a bit. I don't know about beforehand, because I feel too ill to have my brain work properly.
Anyway, it's quite possibly dehydration, or low sugar or the like. If you get that way again, get something with electrolytes to drink. Drink juice if you can, or even gatorade (watering it down might be better), and preferrably warm too. And if you ever feel like fainting, put your head between your knees and sit down. And otherwise, something I do is pinch my upper lip really hard to keep me from passing out.
I dunno, so it's possible that's what it was. If it's happened before or happened again, you may want to talk to a doctor, or otherwise just make sure you pay attention. Because the dangerous thing about fainting is possibly hitting your head on the way down. I fainted on pavement, and luckily ended up with only a bleeding knee (someone half caught me, so it wasn't too bad)
