Contact a computer specialist they will correctly tell you how to empty your flash drive. and if it is a spam that says " OUr detector can tell you have a virus" Click cancel, it can tell you to download a newer version but that Is ALSO a virus.

or you can just go through like CCleaner and the whole uninstall with add/remove programs thing

Yeah everyone needs a doorstop.
Macs aren't better than PCs in any way the only reason there's less viruses is because they aren't capable of running useful scripts which is what viruses do, use your processor to do someone elses work.
