All suffering about to end? Suffering? All of it? I could hardly believe it, so I started flipping through to see how such an event could be possible:

I was completely pumped about the zombie paradise that was promised to me, but this was distressing. Wouldn't an omniscient God know that his creations would turn on him? And even though this "God" character is apparently essential to my well being, I seem to be doing fine without him. Maybe I'm wrong:

This is convincing enough. There didn't to be any scientific basis for the claims so far but by loosely alluding to genetics I was convinced this was scientific. Moving on, I was shocked to learn that every kind of imaginable human invention in the world was a direct contributer to all of our suffering. Every imaginable ordering of society is a catalyst for moral failure and doom. Unless we can return to a relationship with God, only then can we reenter into the eternal life that animals have oh wait

Yes, the idea that humans will endure suffering in the world is a totally unique prophesy that cannot be contradicted! Surely this proves everything the Bible has laid out for us. For indeed, no suffering has ever stemmed from religious conviction, ever.

It ended nicely enough, but I was still unconvinced. Turning to "Awake!" I searched for insights into the nature of God. I found an article on sibling suicide, and it was very helpful in that it dished out reasonable advice and offered comforting Bible passages. And then I got to here:

So God knows all of the factors involved when a person decides to end their own life, but never feels like sharing/intervening/doing a damn thing about it? I guess negligible homicide isn't a factor in heaven even though he sure seems to love it.
