My teacher insulted me in front of the class.

I suffer from a minor short term memory issue. I'm not looking for sympathy. I love art, learning about art, everything. When I was talking to the boy that I liked, for once, I'm quite shy... my teacher found out I signed up for AP Art history.

The only art his. class. She said this was way above 'my skill' level, and I wouldn't succeed in it. She said it's a lot of memorization and she's going to have my counselour change it immediantly. I felt like crying. I really want to take this class. Is it really all that difficult?

Thanks everyone. I didn't really stick up for myself because I was in shock. I mumbled harshly like, "Uh huh... yeah, right.. gotcha." and shot her a bitchy glare. But there's nothing I can really say. I just hope my counselor doesn't change it is all.

Thanks again guys. Yeah, I'm thinking about talking to her. But Friday's the last day anyways. I told my dad about it.. he said he wanted to call and yell at her. But I don't want to cause unnecessary drama. It just really hurt. Not to mention everyone in the class was watching.
