I feel incredibly alone. I really don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going to pass out every minute of the day and I can't handle this for much longer. Its the headaches, double vision, ear bleeding etc. My mother is acting like I can stop it and I can't talk to her because she's told me that she'll always only provide what I need to survive phyiscally, like food and such, but she won't be there for me emotionally. Sometimes I hate myself because I tend to be very cold and unfeeling towards other people. I've lost many friends because any attempt I make to be emotionally connected is very contrived. I don't even think I feel anything most of the time, but somehow I act pretty well. I'm always told that I bring so much emotion to my characters. When I'm around people I don't know I just have so many jokes to tell, but I'm really miserable. It's kind of ironic.

It seems to be that you're living out your feelings through your actions. I'm really sorry that your mum is treating you the way she is - as a parent, she has an emotional responsibility to you as well as a physical duty to care for you. Is there anybody you can talk to, a close friend or a family friend, for example?

It's really important you can talk to someone. If you're at school, could you visit a counselor or go to the school nurse? Most schools do offer a counseling service and I'd really recommend that you go and try and get some professional help here. As for the physical symptoms you've described - again, if your mum won't help you, go to the school nurse. She can help you and recommend any other options that you have.

I'm sorry if that wasn't of much help - you didn't give me very much to go on emotionally. As I said, try and talk to somebody. It's clear that your mum's treatment towards you has had a massive impact on how you're feeling, and as she doesn't talk to you, you bottle everything up inside and close yourself off from the world.

Good luck :)
