You are over analyzing her way too much. Do not worry about the feeling association, it should not be a problem. I suggest asking her on a date first, then getting her number as another member said. The astronomy club sounds like a good idea. But maybe you two could do something different before or after alone. Since you are the leader of the club you may not have enough time to spend with her. Who knows. Good luck.

I suppose it has been over analysed. I do have a bit of a tendancy to do that. Also, thats a good point about before or after the astronomy club meeting, having a few minutes alone. Now I'm thinking that maybe a movie would be best. either way though, i will ask today. And also, ill do the "date asking"thing first, then the "number asking" thing.

Also, There is one other thing I could do. I started astronomy club about 1 month ago at my school, and so I could theoreticly invite her to one of the meetings. We mainly just look at the stars, and we could have a night picnic or a star party in 2 weeks. Do you think that could work as a date?
