To be honest, not that bad at all. I think the eyes could use a little more work though. Is it just that white, or is that a camera flash or something? a few areas could be darker, but otherwise, its pretty fucking good.

the face is a little longer than the original and with better shading you could have the proper angle of his head in the original picture, but overall it's pretty great

It's from the scanner. It's closer to the shade of the original, if not a little darker.

not bad. Erase some of the hair to create highlights where the light is reflecting off of it. Maybe shade a bit darker to give it that contrast, observed works need to be dynamic. especially this pic

Well, his face is a little too long and there isn't enough shading. The eyes need more definition around them. And the left eye is off in some way. Also get rid of the line that separates the lips - make it more smooth or something. Otherwise, it's pretty nice.
