i'm auditioning for a musical on tuesday, and I have my song picked out and I can sing it really well, and I think I have the potential to get a great part. the one problem? I GET STAGE FRIGHT. REALLY BADLY. not with acting or dancing -- just with singing. whenever I try to sing in front of a crowd, my voice gets all vibrato and weak and wavery. is there any way I can stop this from happening?

Close your eyes while you're singing? Do you have the song memorized?
------- A lovestruck Romeo, sings the streets a serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made Finds a streetlight, steps out of the shade Says something like, "You and me, babe, how about it?"

Well, I've found that when I get stage fright I have to remind myself of why I am singing in the first place. I love it. If I love it, then everyone else doesn't matter, I'm not singing for them.

OMG. How can you get stage fright? If you think your going to get stage fright then why would you even want to try out? That is so stupid. Why can't you just leave it to people who actually take lessons for this kind of thing. I mean seriously, ever heard of DRAMA ENRICHMENT CLASSESS? Geez.
