I've been there once when I was younger, my grandmother lives very near the border.

No, but I had a substitute teacher from Albania a very long time ago, when I was in middle school. She knew five languages fluently.

Probably when I was very young because if my parent's work, it wasn't safe then and it isn't much better now.  There is a specific reason that I remember Albania though.

I haven't been to Albania but I'd definitely like to go to. For some reason I've been wanting to go to the Balkans and Southern Slavic countries lately.
